Lessons Learned

The most interesting part of our project? For me, it would be just the fact that we can use a camera, go out into the community and do things, out of school. Working with a team, on a project on this is also something that I really enjoy. Working with a camera is something that I enjoy and I like to work with people. I've got to say, before this project I hardly touched a camera. Now, I feel happy when we are filming, like we are heading towards the right direction.

The biggest roadblock our team handled? Well, its probably that we all cannot meet at the same time. Meeting with the team is a big challenge. We all have different schedules, and it is quite difficult for us all to meet at the same time. We, as a group try to meet as often as possible. Usually, two or three people meet, and then we transition. Hopefully, as soon as possible we will all meet as a group and get a lot of work done.

The most valuable aspect of the film making process? To know where to film, where to place the mic, how to make the camera shoot the best angles possible. Those are some of the essentials for film making (process). Learning how to choose the best camera angle for one shot, a low angle for another. The most valuable lesson above all would be to know how to make shots look interesting. You don't want to be looking at the same thing for 1-2 minutes, do you?
