Germany Confirms Kidnapping of Two Citizens by Islamist Group in Philippines

The German Foreign Ministry announced and confirmed that two German citizens in the Philippines have been kidnapped by a terrorist group. They are being held hostage as of now. The terrorist group has threatened to kill both of the hostages, unless Germany pays a ransom. The ransom amount would be 250 million Philippine pesos. Translate that into american dollars, and it would be 5.6million dollars. 

My opinion on this issue would be that it's horrible! Two people, possibly related are being held against their will! The people that would do this kind of thing must have no hearts. For money as well? Whats the point in this! I want to join the movement on this subject and help both of the two people be rescued.  Hearing about this stuff makes me realize how harsh some people can be. Opinion? I strongly agree with helping to find these people

Why we, as a community should care about this? The people are not of relation to us, so why should we care, right? Well, no, not right. Humanity relies on people. People, everyone should help one another, regardless of whatever goes down. In the end, we are all the same. Its in our nature, we survive. Not helping anyone would be foolish.
