Movie Poster Promo

The main characters are Professor H20, and Cat man. Yes, this may seem silly, but bear with me. Professor H20 will be played by Michael Gremse and Cat Man will be played by Kaz Espina  (links to blogs below). Professor H20's character is supposed to be sort of a "bad guy". He is supposed to have an odd personality and he keeps to himself. Cat man is supposed to be a social person who just rushes to the scene where crime would be. He is somewhat odd, but he is the protagonist.

The title Catastrophe in Litterville is supposed to be a somewhat decent pun that relates to the story. The text all around the poster is the characters and the "critiques" from big-time magazines and publishers. We try to use kerning to our full advantage in the poster, it makes the text more appealing and likable than if you just use plain text. It's a way to spread out the text, to make it more, "pop-out".  That's the main reason that we use kerning, just to add an appealing touch to the text.

The overall effect of layers and filters used is just to make it more appealing. It came out really good, if I do say so myself (and I do!). It made a really positive impact on our poster, it added a really nice touch. I tried to use kerning, filters, and layer effects to make it look more appealing, and it did, quite a bit. Progress has been slow on the image, but it has been productive. I'm really happy how the poster came out, I could of done some things better, but overall, I really like it.
